Arrival and Parking:

Street parking is abundant near the venue.
A parking garage is located two blocks south:
South Livingston Street Garage, adjacent to
The Sylvee concert venue.

Travel by Plane:

Dane County Regional Airport (MSN) is a measly ten-minute-drive from downtown Madison.
Direct flights are available from many cities, including New York, Philadelphia, DC, Chicago, and Miami.

Nearly all other airports reach MSN with just one connecting flight.

Paul particularly likes our airport:
”A civil, calm, orderly place. Also you can drink
beer at your gate, God be praised.”

Local Attractions

The country’s largest producer-only farmer’s market. Even in October they will have plenty of goodies: cheese, baked goods, and produce like apples, cranberries, brussels sprouts, and squash. We like to get there early to avoid the foot-shuffling crowds, but if you take a deep breath and can go with the flow (counterclockwise please!) it’s quite the spectacle.

Grab a seat in one of the the iconic starburst chairs, enjoy a beer (or ice cream!) and take in the views of Lake Mendota. Paul thinks this is a Great Lake. It is, but it is not.

Admission is free, but the mustard will cost you.

All of these museums are f—f—free!

Visit one of the e-bike stations and ride the 13 mile loop around Lake Monona! Don’t make the same mistake Melissa did… check that the bike is charged before you head out (Paul wants to clarify that he offered to switch bikes but Melissa is stubborn.)
